Churrasco Brazilian Steakhouse is honored to have received the Best of Reno award for the “Best New Restaurant” on May 11, 2022. The Reno Gazette Journal’s Best of Reno award is the Official Community Choice awards for Northern Nevada. Churrasco was also nominated for Best Steakhouse in Reno and was a finalist with three other Reno steakhouses making Churrasco the top three voted “Best Steakhouse” in Reno.
Churrasco features an imported fresh market table filled with fan favorites, including an assortment of fresh chilled salads and hot sides, sauces, imported cheeses and our famous mushroom risotto. There will be areas for group dining as Churrasco is a great place to celebrate any occasion worth remembering for years to come. But the star of any Brazilian steakhouse is the all you can eat meats, rotisserie roasted to perfection over an open flame grill. Churrasco will offer 15 all you can eat meats to include Filet Mignon, Ribeye, Lamb chops, Beef Ribs, Picanha (House special), Bottom Sirloin, Filet with bacon, Leg of Lamb, Top sirloin, Beef Brisket, Chicken with bacon, Pork Ribs, Parmesan Pork, Chicken Thighs and Pork sausage. With all this to eat, no wonder why people keep coming back for more. It’s simply delicious, from the chicken stroganoff and famous mushroom risotto on the buffet to the thin sliced meats and superior service, people just love to be spoiled.
But how does a brand new restaurant survive when they open their doors in February, 2020 only to be closed by the pandemic in March? Luckily, buy June the restaurant was operating at 50% capacity with tons of new procedures in place to keep guests as safe as possible. Despite all the challenges facing a new restaurant, including staffing shortages, restrictions, food availability, etc., Churrasco continued to thrive thanks to the devoted Brazilian Steakhouse lovers both locally and visiting from around the world to enjoy everything that the Lake Tahoe region has to offer.
The five-star reviews kept pouring in on all social media, including Yelp, Facebook and Google wit 4.9 and 5.0 overall ratings which helped us see the feedback and perfect wherever we could. For this we thank all of our guests who took the time to go online, to check-in and to let others know about their experiences at Churrasco. Our following is growing by the day and it’s our customers who took the time to vote for us that really shows that they care about us and that we have made a good impression on them. While many restaurants unfortunately didn’t make it through the pandemic, Churrasco was fortunate. We were lucky that people love Brazilian Steakhouses as much as they do, and that we had the dedicated staff who trained with ownership and management to be the best of the best. And although the prices of meat and transportation has gone up along with the price per “all you can eat” plate, Churrasco still provides the same high quality meats our guests expect.
